what is the difference between colored pencils and water color pencils?
like if i draw with colored pencils do i have to learn how to use water colors? and is the look different?
and do u need water for them and if so how do you use the water?

Colored pencils stays on as you color something while water color pencils will either spread or wash off. Colored pencils will produce a bold color on an artwork while water color pencils will give your artwork a transparent look, and also it has to do with how much color you apply. You only need water for water colored pencils. Basically, with colored pencils, you are just coloring and with water colored pencils, you are coloring first and then painting second. But in my opinion, water colored pencils works a lot faster because you can quickly lay on your colors and then go over it with a wet brush. Hope this helps.
