Peices of art that could be used for a report... Any Ideas?

So I have a history report to do and I really need some help finding decent pics of art... Any suggestions or favorable peices you like think I might like?

I'd perfer to have a sculpture or something because we have to write a story about the art, but having a painting (or pottery and other types) is okay too.

Since I have to do a report I need to make sure there is information on said peice of art that I could find info about on say google, yahoo, in a magazine, or in a book. Its required we have resources so please provide the name of the art, and who created it... I'm sure I can find out the rest.

Here are some good internet resources. The majority of online art collections will consist primarily of paintings and other two dimensional works. Occasionally you will stumble upon an online sculpture collection but it is more common to find three dimensional modern and contemporary art collections.
