If you are good at crafts and have some ideas, than this is where you come in! There are several places that you can offer seasonal crafts, eventually until it can turn into a profitable business. Your crafts don't have to be anything exuberant or complicated. Even a simple item will bring a unique joy to someone for the year. If you have some ideas that have grown on you for the year, why not sell the revenue?
One of the advantages of offering seasonal crafts is that you can only offer it during the season. This means that you will have the entire year to build your inventory, and then sell it in one or two places at one time of the year. The advantage of this is that you can use the rest of the year to build your items, or to make different seasonal items. At the same time, you will want to make sure to keep track of what and how much you have sold, in order to maximize your profit.
How do you turn one or two seasons into a permanent job? It will take time, but it is simply knowing what to sell and how to sell it. For example, if you have Christmas ornaments that are completely unique, don't just give them away! Find a Christmas crafts sale that you can sell them at. Don't stop here, either! Find a place on the Internet that you can sell them, or get someone else to go to a second Christmas sale to sell more of the items. You can be guaranteed to make a large profit. After the sale is over, you can either concentrate on next year, or another seasonal item to offer, making your craft turn into a large profit.
Everyone is looking for that one unique gift for the year that adds an extra special atmosphere to the season. If you have the ability to offer that to someone, then why not begin to learn how to make a profit off of it? If your items have quality, and if you begin to find the best ways to make a large inventory, it can be guaranteed that you can turn a seasonal craft into a successful arts and crafts business.

Whats the best way to start your own Art and Crafts business ?
I paint, draw and use a variety of mediums. I also make cards, decoupage etc, Kids Door signs.....
I started with a freebie website and I offered evey darn thing that I knew how to make. Within a year I was bringing in enough money to upgrade to ad-free, and then in about another year it had distilled itself down to just a few items that sold well and that I enjoy making. I had a few items that sold like hotcakes but it turned out they were not fun to make, and then there are some things I like making that nobody wants to buy.
Make sure you give away a lot to family and friends so you can have good pictures and testimonials on your site Keep checking your competition and try to always do them one better.
