I need help making bath salts...?
I am making my mum bath salts for mothers day ( yes i know it is a month away! ) but i can't afford essential oils! I have got two different bottles of fragrance oils though, also known as refresher oil or potpourri oil. Would it be safe to put these in to my salts? I can't find the answer anywhere on the web. Thanks in advance!

Bath Salts are basically Sodium carbonate (also known as washing soda or soda ash) with colouring and fragrance added,. When I was a lad it was common practise to add vegetable colouring to washing soda before presenting them in a empty jar.to a girl of your acquaintance. I can't see any harm could be done by mixing in the oils that you possess to make a scented treat for your Mum.
