Your cat/s depressed by this lovely (ahem!) Bank Holiday weather?
Well we are pretty depressed by it too - but our two younger cats, who love to laze in sunny spots in our garden, are having a really hard time of it.
I have just washed up, after a late lunch, and all the time I was at the sink Cliff was sat right in front of the cat flap, which looks out onto our patio with its rain-beaded table and chairs; he had his head hunched right down into his shoulders and looked the picture of dejection.
It was like he was saying - I want to go out and laze in my special plant pot in the sun but I can't, what are you going to DO about it? (Yes, he has a pot all his own, it has no flowers in it, only earth, and is exactly the right size for him and yes, we are mugs.)
And Stanzi, his Mum, is curled up into a tiny ball on one of our breakfast bar chairs with her paws over her eyes. Cruel wet world, can't stand it any more, she's saying!

Yeah, why can't you do something about it you lazy uncaring human? umbrellas, sunlamps, marquis, heat fans... something? You know you have the power. Just do it. If you really can't be bothered then why don't you just go back to bed and make a comftorbuts place for us to snuggle this horrid day away in? You laugh at us, but do you really care? phhtfprrr
